Do you think i can still get herpes event though i had sex 13 months ago?

Ok so i had sex with a girl 13 months ago unprotected anally who found out 3 months later that she has herpes. The last time we had sex was 3 months before she experienced symptoms or heard about her herpes. a Few days ago, i started to get a rash in my groin between the scrotum and thigh, and little bumps on my thigh without puss. This scares me, but i don't know how it could possibly be herpes because i didnt experience any of the bodily symptoms such as fever, and i didn't experience an initial outbreak soon after sex 13 months ago. Any doctors or knowledgeable people please help me
