well it depends how hot it was inside your house like if it was hot to point where you were like exhausted and sweating then maybe it was a heat stroke. but you didnt intentionally mean harm to your hamster either way. its kinda like my guinea pig she had a stroke probably cuz she was fat and i felt horrible cuz i gave her sooo many treats
