Valtrex and Herpes possibility.?

The only way to know if it is herpes is to have a swab taken from an active lesion and have it tested. I find it bizarre the dr didn't even look , never mind do a test. However, if there is a possibility you have it you need to know really as it can affect future sexual partners. I suggest you go back to a different dr and discuss the situation with them.
