My situation with genital herpes....?

First off, i'm sorry. That sucks. You have to take your medicine that the doctors gave you. If you have herps you will have more outbreaks and they will probably be worse than the first. If you don't take your medicine, it will get so bad you will have to get warts burned off and out of your vagina. I can't imagine how bad THAT would hurt. Also, if you do not take care of the problem, you can very likely get cervical cancer from the herpes. You wont die from herpes, but you can die from cervical cancer. Condoms do not protect against herpes. Herpes is more of a skin disease. You can get it on your mouth or genitals. It is very likely for you to give it to a guy, and not fair of you not to tell them. It is treatable, and I believe curable. So, get it taken care of. STD's are not something to fool around with .Also, get a gyno. who is concerned and cares for your health. If your does not even call when she says she will, you may want to concider someone else. You def. should always let a guy know if of your condition, because he may not even care, and he may not want to get it himself. Honestly, it is the fair thing to do. Good luck!
