Possible re-emergence of shingles?

I had an outbreak of shingles a few months ago, on the back of my head and on my cheek. The scar on my cheek never fully went away, but it has been easier to feel it than to see it. I've had no pain or itching. A few days ago, the scar began getting a little redder and I can feel small bumps beginning to emerge, though I have no pain, itching, or any other symptoms. Should I be concerned with this? It doesn't seem to be getting worse, but it doesn't seem to be getting better either. Going to the doctor would cost time and money I can't really afford, but I'll do it if this could mean that I'm having another outbreak of shingles. Thanks for any input!
