Yo yo loach losing colour?

I looked in my tank this evening to check on him and he's lost most of his stripes! There is a very small outbreak of ich in the tank and it's being treated with Jungle Parasite Clear and raised water temperature (around 83f). Could any of this cause him to lose his stripes? Oh and I don't have a water test kit on hand so I can't tell you the water readings, but all the rest of my fish (fry included) seem very healthy and active (despite the ich). Thanks!
